throttle modulation and practice. Once you find the balance point on your bike you can ride a wheelie for miles with the right throttle control.

Please don't practice this next to me on the highway.

I did a wheelie for a1/4 mile when I was 19 on a honda 450 scrambler.I was a fool and did not realise it.I could have been killed.Please keep the front wheel on the ground for your safety.Life is hard enough without a permanent injury that would create a real hardship for you and your loved ones.Best of luck, the old biker.
