I am 5'3" and looking for a bike. I want to be able to have a passenger, and storage. I would prefer a touring cruiser. I've been riding for 14 years.

i am building a motorcycle with a weight of 350 lb (Bike and rider) and i need to know what kind of motor will perform to my specifications. the specifications are

top speed 30+ mph
Acceleration 0-30 in >4 seconds
hp 5+
voltage 12 volts DC

I used a fuel preservative (only down 2 1/2 months) but when I fired her up I had minimal spark and the cylinders getting a good gas rinse. The gas is good. I pulled and cleaned the plugs and got the same result. It only has 1,400 miles. Any ideas before I call the dealer? Thanks.

I bought an older PUCH 2-cycle mc at an auction. All of the parts are there and there's good compression. Half of the gas tank is for oil and half of the tank for gas, which is rusty inside, so I got it for little money, but I still need to know the best way to take out, get rid-of and maybe even coat the rusty gas tank. Do any of you bikers out there know of a place I can purchase "Leather Half Chaps" for riding motorcycles? Please let me know of any websites that sell them. I have tried looking on the internet, but I only found full chaps.

I loved my old 1979 Honda XR500. Now I have a BMW GS1000 but it is way too heavy to really do the type of things the XR did. So I'm thinking of getting another enduro to use in the hills. I would prefer to spend under $4K. What kind of used bike should I get?

I kind of did last week. i was splitting lanes kind of fast on the 710 and i think a cop tried to pull me over but i just zoomed past traffic and he never caught me. kind of stupid now that i think about it, but if he were to follow me i would of pulled over and say that i just didnt see the lights, lol.

I havent ridden for a few years now....and am only licensed to ride up to 250cc. I LOVED my Suzuki GN 250..... HATED the Kawasaki GPX250 I had. Should I take the lessons and get an open license... and a bigger bike or stick to what I know?? Im tall, fairly strong build... the GN just felt too small to me. I would like a bike just like the GN, only bigger.... I dont need huge speed. Any suggestions??

I am a begining bike rider and I have heard a lot of interesting comments on this forum. I am 6'1 and 240 and have been told that a good bike for me would be a 1000cc. The guy who told me this is in a sports bike club and has a lot of years or experience. 30+ years. I am leading towards a 600cc myself. what do your guys think?
