I have found the adjuster that balances the left-hand pair of carbs with the right-hand pair, but I cannot locate any adjusters that balance the carbs within each pair. Similarly do you know what the needle heights should be set to?

Thank you for any advice that you can give.

I am a mature adult with 30 years of riding experience. I will be using the bike primarily for daily commute to work, about 12 miles . On weekends my wife will ocassionally ride with me, so passenger comfort and cruising ability are a consideration. I like fast bikes I currently have a Kawasaki ZRX1200-R.

The readout comes on when you start the bike but as your riding it never changes from zero.
Anybody have insight on the technical fix?

id like to get a Shoei helmet but they are so expensive. does anyone have any experience with ICON helmets? Or even jackets? im also looking at the ICON Motorhead jacket. Its between the ICON jacket and a Joe Rocket blaster 3.0. THe blaster looks like it would be so cool in the heat. Im also looking at the ICON Perimiter helmet and the Shoei TZ-R. Thanks for any opinions.

Is this bike a reliable and safe machine? Please tell me the disadvantages to this bike as well as the advantages. What should I look out for in a second hand machine which may spell trouble for me. Also is a particular year better than another? I can't afford the latest model so will be getting something probably a couple of years old. I am not mechanically minded or gifted so want something virtually trouble free except for the usual maintenance things. Is this bike a good choice for a beginner and novice. Your answers will be well read. Many thanks in advance. I look forward to your replies asap.

this seem completely pointless. what is the purpose of having a 1-N-2-3-4-5-6 gearbox? why not have N first, then 1-2-3 etc?

on every motorcycle, the sprocket connecting to the crankshaft of the engine is small and the rear cog is large. whereas on a normal bike, if you use that same combo, then you go 4mph.

why is this? does it have something to do with the transmission? would you go faster on a motorcycle if you reversed the sprocket size and set it up like pedal bike?

serious answers please, im baffled and this is going to bother me until i get an answer.

10miles in it stopped.

it wouldn't bump start.lights ect. work, KILL switch is on RUN, fresh fuel, checked contacts, fuel lines ect....NO STARTER.

I ride my Ninja motorcycle in sub-zero temps all the time, and currently use a group of thermal, leather, and armored gloves. Now I am looking for something that can sustain 50mph or higher wind and still keep me warm. Any fellow bikers know of some good gloves?
