Doesn't the gsxr use 4 small heater plugs in the carbs like the bandit does? The best fix is a Silkolene fuel additive.

this is a common problem with this model, the heater is located on the bottom or on some models it is warmed by having the hot water from the rad passing though. however the best solution is to use an additive to your petrol which i cant remember the name of but a dealer will be able to tell you and supply it. i think its made by silkolene.
