now do ya see why u shouldnt ride stunts on street bikes? get out yer checkbook, yer gonna need it to do a major overhaul of the bottom end....that's gonna run u probably more than the bike is worth. that bike doesnt have very many miles on it for today's bikes either.

Doing a lot of wheelies on sport bikes can be hazardous to the crankshaft and bearings. When the front wheel is up in the air, the oil in the crankcase, pools in the back of the motor. The oil pick-up tube cannot reach the oil and the crank & crank bearings will be under lubed (if lubed at all). The knocking noise you're hearing is the crank bearings and rod journals being worn out. Sorry to say, but you're talking major engine repair. I'm not a service manager and don't know prices. You can be looking at repair costs of up to $3000

Hey, Guardrail is right. That noise is bad bearings and its most likely from you doing wheelies too much and then beating the crap out of it in between. You could have helped the bike a bit if you planned on doing alot of this kinda abuse to the bike if you would have used a little thicker viscosity synthetic oil made for wet clutches.(motorcycle synthetic oil) It would have helped keep those bearings better lubed for protection against dry friction when running wheelies.Your gonna have to pay quite a bit for a engine overhaul.Or buy a used engine from a cycle yard.Shop eBay for one or call around to cycle salvage yards to get a price on a good used engine.
