I know there are different features but a ballpark number. I have found $2,000 to $6,000. Was told don't buy from this country had problems with this certain dealer. Just want to pay a fair price for a safe quality vehicale that I could enjoy for years and not have it in the shop all the time.

I have always been a biker at heart, rode once, wrecked, never had the chance to get back on. I have decided, its time to learn the right way and take a course and get my liscense. My question is, What do you think would be the best beginner bike? I want something cool (of course) and something comfortable, good for long rides/short rides, and tough.

I have a 94 Shadow 1100, love the bike, wouldn't trade it for anything but it seems to go through a lot of coolant I can't see it leaking anywhere and I don't smell anything unusual in the exhaust like I think I would if there were a head gasket leaking. Anybody have any suggestions?

I just had my bike serviced and dyno tuned. about 3 weeks later my bike starts to run on 3 cyclinders instead of 4 (16vavles). I have checked the plugs they are fine, no build up and all have a good spark. the thing that puzzles me is that the dead cylinder alternates between 2 cylinders, 2 and 4. its not using oil. My so called bike macanic cant figure it out either. Does anyone have any ideas of what the problem can be?

I own a 1969 honda trail 70. I am replacing the piston and rings and need to take the head off...How do I re-time the timing chain gears between the crank and the camshaft? Also, what is the gap on the points supposed to be for a 1969 Honda trail 70?

I picked up a 1978 Honda CB400 Automatic a few months ago. And I'm just curious about who else has found automatic motorcycles, what year/make/model, and how you like yours?
I love mine. I just couldn't get 'shifting' and being new it is so great to concentrate on riding and not worry about how to shift.

Why is it a law that all drivers and passengers in a car must WEAR a SEATBELT but MOTORCYCLISTS do not have to wear a HELMET? Wearing a helmet is there choice. Now in my view I believe motorcyclists are in more harms way because their bodies and their HEAD will not have any support for impact except the road. Don't get me wrong I truly support all drivers and passengers wearing a seatbelt but motorcyclists should be require to wear a HELMET. What do you think?
