I know there are different features but a ballpark number. I have found $2,000 to $6,000. Was told don't buy from this country had problems with this certain dealer. Just want to pay a fair price for a safe quality vehicale that I could enjoy for years and not have it in the shop all the time.

it depends on the Vespa, not the sidecar. A crappy P125X or P150E with a generic sidecar shouldn't be more than $2,000. A color-matched sidecar with w P200E or Rally 180 (both scooter and sidecar fully restored) will go for $5,000 - $6,000.

One resource you should check out is http://www.scooter99.com/

BTW - keep in mind that while sidecars look cool, their different to drive and make the Vespa a lot less manuverable than without. Make sure it is worth it to you because you will be paying a premium for that and it's not all that easy to remove, store, etc.

I doubt that I can tell you anything you don't already know, but a quick internet search seems to suggest you could easily spend three to five grand for a fully restored model -- assuming you can find one.

I bought a new 125cc back in 1960 and used to ride it everywhere -- all the way up to about 48 mph! I really envy you having one with a sidecar, though I assume you'd have a bigger engine than I had. Sounds like a really cool machine!
