I just bought a 1991 suzuki bandit 400 and need to know how to obtain a title for it in Illinois. It was lost a couple owners ago and the guy previously named on the title is unreachable. I've heard some things, get a bond title but that sounds extrememly difficult and expensive or go through a title service from Maine or Mississippi, but it's alot more expensive for a bike less than 15 years old, which this bike is just now 15 years old. Any recommendations? I've checked the numbers and it is not a stolen bike.

I've got a 100" RevTech with a chronic air leak. Changed intake seals numerous times, new flanges and finally new manifold. It will seal up for a day or two and then begin to leak again. Is there some unusual cause of air leaks on these things? The typical fixes are'nt doing it.............PLEASE DONT TELL ME HOW TO DIAGNOSE AN AIR LEAK, THIS I KNOW>

Does anybody know the make and where they were made of a front and rear wheel drive 2 wheeled trail bike made in the 60's?
They had a many sectioned drive shaft to the front wheel. I don't remember if the rear wheel was driven by a shaft or a chain.
They were advertised in the popular hunting/fishing magazines of that era.

A friend of mine recently bought an Indian motorcycle frame on E-Bay but cant figure out what year it is. The model is an Indian Chief, but thats as far as much as he knows, the serial number on the photo of the frame is either 3024420570 or 302-420570 or 302A420570....he cant really tell becasue the picture of it isnt very clear.

Stupid me turned my head for a second and when I turned back I was right at the median and CURB!!! I scraped the curb once with my radiator fairing and thought for sure I was going to dump it. My instincts took over and I hit the next curb and then rode out of it......Talk about freaking out! Well, needless to say, my paint and some chrome is scraped off on the bottom but it could have been a lot worse. I am still bummed out though. This is a very expensive paint job and a brand new V-Rod. Anyone else do this same thing or something similar? Defensive driving is what saved my *** !

Money no object...

I'm not stupid, I am not going to buy a 750cc missile for my first bike but I have been on bikes all my life, thanks to my dad, so don't want a muppet like 125cc.

Any suggestions for a nice wee starter bike? I would love a Triumph or Ducati but will get one when I have some proper riding experiance under my belt!
