I used to have a Shadow Sabre.
Go to www.cruisercustomizing.com, they have all you need for metric cruisers. I've purchased from them - never let me down.

I put these on my 97 spirit. I bought some rail extenders from Honda to move the turn signals back and had to fabricate some brackets, but they worked out pretty well.
Edit:
I think the rail extenders were made by Cobra.

If I recall, the Spirit is not really designed to be a bagger, so your choices might be limited. Start by looking in Dennis Kirk's catalog. You'll need to measure how much room you have above your exhausts pipes, for starters.
Check "Leatherlyke", too.

I bought some hard bags from: http://www.nationalcycle.com/ in 2000 and they are still doing great. I had them painted to match my V-Star 1100 custom. Inexpensive but durable. Bike shops can order for you also.

You can get you bags at J.C Whitney and any honda shop or jpcycle.com can get you the cobra bag racks to hook them to. You might have to bend them a bit but they work great!
