nobody "needs" a bike that can go 140 on the highway, so I hope you were intending that for the race track.
First you say Harleys suck and then you say you ride one. HUH?

The fastest stock bike you can get right now won't go past 186 MPH - that's the "governor" as specified by all factory bikes.
You can disable it, but I don't know how.
Now, on to the serious stuff - if you want a cruiser-like bike that will do that speed - get the V-Max (under 12K). If you want a sportbike that will do that speed (and more), get the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 - fastest production sport bike out this year. It's a 'busa killer.
Good luck - and wear leather - or when you crash (notice I said not if - you sound like a moron who has never ridden before) you won't have anymore skin.

I have both A Harley to ennjoy and a VMAX for speed get a VMAX just be carefull not to loose your nuts.
