Does anybody know the make and where they were made of a front and rear wheel drive 2 wheeled trail bike made in the 60's?
They had a many sectioned drive shaft to the front wheel. I don't remember if the rear wheel was driven by a shaft or a chain.
They were advertised in the popular hunting/fishing magazines of that era.

Rokon Trailbreaker. I think you can still buy them today with a Tecumseh engine. BTW - Both Yamaha and KTM have produced 2WD dirt bikes in recent years.

The Rokon enduro/motocross bike was a very innovative bike for its time, but was a technological flop. The pull-starter had to be the worst idea ever thought of on a dirt bike. They were very heavy for a dirt bike at that time. The "snowmobile" transmission was unreliable... unless you carried a small fortune in spare drive belts. Then there were the mechanical disc brakes which only scrubbed 1 or 2 mph before the crash. The factory bikes were usually in top condition and very reliable. For the average rider the bikes required a lot more maintenance than the new Japanese dirt bikes at that time.

The Rokon enduro and motocross bikes are sought-after collectors items today and very popular with vintage enthusiasts.

I just about consistently use a million.ninety 5 too for the right reason you opt to. as long as you have an aggressive sufficient tread for super tender situations. i might say the Ignitor may well be quickly and a smart determination in all yet heavy airborne dirt and dirt, sand, gravel. Even then i might according to threat attempt changing basically the back for the truly loose stuff. I under no circumstances used this tire yet once I have been searching for a pair i might look at those for specific.

yes the Rokon, as above.

The awful thing is that the motorcycle racing authorities would not allow this technology into scrambling or trials competitions. If they had, we could all have benefitted. B*stards.
