I picked up a 1978 Honda CB400 Automatic a few months ago. And I'm just curious about who else has found automatic motorcycles, what year/make/model, and how you like yours?
I love mine. I just couldn't get 'shifting' and being new it is so great to concentrate on riding and not worry about how to shift.

There aren't many "automatic" motorcycles out there. Boss Hoss (the bikes with the Chevy V-8s stuffed in em) have 3-speed autos. Yamaha just came out with it's FJR1300A that has an auto-clutch transmission (you still have to shift, just no clutching) and there are others, but they are few and far between.

No, mine is a standard. I have never seen an automatic motorcycle, I have heard of them though. Glad to hear you are on the road, riding what you are comfortable with!
