and may want to restore it for my son... I had it running a year ago, but it wouldn't go in any gear.... stayed in neutral... anyone know of any good sites to obtain parts from for this series of a bike? any help would be greatly appreciated....

Your Honda dealer will be the best bet. In some areas of the country there are motorcycle salvage yards. If you can talk to one of the older mechanics at a dealership he may have parts. Ebay may have parts and gasket sets too. You simply need to list what you want. You can contact a Honda dealer who has been in business many years too. Weerre you hard on it when you ere a kid? You mentiioned it would not go into gear. Just sitting should not have hurt it, unless the clutch cable rusted. Otherwise I would say the shifting fork. I hope you get it fixed, I like working on old projects too.

there are thousands of these parts on ebay motors. if your problems are to serious. you can buy a complete reproduce engine for about 125.00 it wont be original but if its just for your son to enjoy like we did they work great.
