it's like a white tank where, i think you put antifreeze, and that fluid goes through like a mini hose and squirts out to the front of the car to clean the front window, shield thing.? do you know what the proper name for that tank is and how i can get a new one for a 2002 suburban?

i am using a radiator, and the top part, where theres a hose that goes the resevoir tank ... the plastic part where the hose would attach is broken off, and so i cant connect a resevoir tank to it.

Will i be losing a substantial amount of radiator fluid as i drive? (perhaps from the pressure that is built inside the radiator)

I have a 1974 Holiday Rambler 1000 series 21ft travel trailer with a Suburban 16000 BTU forced air furnace. I have owned it since September, and I am living in it in a very cold climate. The heater has been on continuously for several days now, and this morning I awakened to the smell of burning rubber/plastic. I looked at the exhaust vent and there was a caked on black substance, It was very thick and brittle. I have not smelled or seen this before, and have turned off the furnace. I have a working carbon monoxide detector which has not gone off as well.

Can a loose tie rod cause excessive tire defation? I've got a problem with my driver's side front tire losing air; roughly 10psi every two weeks. I've purchased new tires on the front; no leaks/punctures were found in the tires that were replaced. I've been on new tires for four days and it already looks ike the new driver's side front is beginning to lose pressure. I'm curious if a loose/broken tie rod end could be causing this. Any other insights would be appreciated. Thanks.

I can't get my car to the shop until monday, but I noticed recently that there's a smell coming from the engine that smells like burning oil. today the heater wouldn't heat and then i realized the car was overheating. the burning smell is definitely not transmission fluid, it smells like oil or something. it's a 99 subaru forester if that helps. anything come to mind?

Yesterday when i got into my car (1991 Buick Park Ave), i heard a "pssssssss" air sound, almost like air was coming out of my tire. it was more in the back of the car, and only lasted maybe 3 -5 seconds. i checked and the tires were fine so i drove off. within a matter of minutes my brake light came on and i had to jam down on the brakes to slow down/stop the car. i popped the hood and there was no brake fluid in the car, so i put a whole bottle in. the brake light went off but came back on ten mins later with the same problems. We had a new master cylinder put in a couple months ago, and had the lines bled before that. there are also new brake pads on the vehicle.
what else could be wrong with the car? and appr. how much would it cost to fix? i cant take it in anywhere till after xmas so im curious as to what to expect.
thanks!

My woes continue with this van. After a new radiator and all been pressure tested, today it is obvious that there is oil getting into the water and coolant, does this mean a new cylinder head gasket is required??

my wife got a flat. i didn't have time to mess with it so i took it to a tire place. they told me they couldn't find anything wrong. So aired it up put it back on the car. My wife drove it to work the next morning, called said it was flat again. I found a puncture and patched it. trouble is, she drove to work with the tire almost flat. the side wall and has small crack all the way around. no missing rubber chunks, no visible belts, just a hair line crack. the tires will need replaced in spring, and with Christmas here i'd hate to have to buy a new set now. I also don't want to by one new tire then three more in 6 months. will the tire be ok or is it too dangers to risk?

If tiny bubbles continuously rise to the surface of the coolant at the radiator filler neck, is that an early sign of head gasket failure?

I have a bit of a problem with my 1995 honda accord lx: the gas milage sucks! last tank of about 15 gallons, i didnt even get 200 miles. now, my tank is 3/4 done and im only at 95 miles. I live in the Chicago land area and the whether has been pretty cold around here, but i didnt think that it would kill my gas milage like that. I didnt get such bad milage last year, this is just making me mad. If anyone has any suggestions on what to do. My check engine light isnt on and the car seems to be acting normally. Someone please help! thanks in advance.

I own a 94 Toyota Camry. It was just given to me last year, w/ only 60k miles. It just broke down due to a human error (it had no coolant and the engine fried)

Is it worth replacing the engine I wonder, or should I just put the money towards a new vehicle
