was running rough from dead stop until over 30 or so-
now won't start & has gas in the oil--any ideas what's going
on or where to start- help

I know exactly what's wrong. The fuel pressure regulator has failed and the gas is leaking into the intake and past the rings.

If it has the CSFI vortec you may need to remove the upper intake manifold to repair it.

It won't start because the plugs are wet, but that's good because you don't want to start it with the oil contaminated.

You have a intake manifold leak. Go to a mechanic and have the gasket replaced.

ok you need to replace the fuel pump,fuel filter,oil and oil filter.and if it still doesn't start check your timing

its flooded change oil and spark plugs
