hi, i have a 2000 acura integra LS
my A/C works fine but only when i set the fan speed to 3 or 4, at speed 1 and 2 the air doesnt blow anything out.
what does this mean and how can i fix it?

it sounds like the blower motor resistor is going out, eventually 4 is the only one that is going to work
replace the resistor and the whole thing will work

M man has it right.
Find the blower resistor and change it.
It will be located close to the fan motor and have several wires going to a card that is held in to the air plenum with two screws.

it's a bad reastat,ALL it is a resistor with two small spring coils,when it fails it go right to full power there no low or intermediate.
Its a very simple fix you can do it yourself it's either under the passenger side screwed into the heater box ,or its under the hood on passenger side again in the heater box. price range can be anywhere from $25-$125 for the part and two minutes to install

Likely problems: speed control switch has gone bad or the blower fan assembly has gone bad.

You'll need to take it to a mechanic to get it repaired.

sounds like your speed control switch is going bad you may need to take it to a shop to repair i would check at the auto parts store first ask them
