If you are lucky there is already a connector in the door that contains all the wiring needed. If you were in an accident and that got destroyed, you need to get a chassis schematic which you can buy from Toyota dealers.

Well, Too - Cheap - To - Have - It - Professionally - Installed, WHEN do you want the heated mirror to operate?
1. When the LIGHTS are on (Summer, too...)?: Hook to the light circuit.
2. When it’s cold, i.e. the HEATER in the car is working? Then wire it to something that activates when the heater is engaged (I have no idea WHAT is activated in HEAT mode. Be careful the circuit you choose is not activated when the AC is on, as well, or the mirrors will work all summer, too!).
3. Install a separate lighted switch (Probably the best idea). Nissan will have these, especially for your dash board, an “auxiliary switch” (ask at the parts department), so it won’t look like crap when you are done. This will likely fit into an existing hole in your dash,
Think.
By the way, unless you want to really damage things, I strongly suggest you go to the nearest auto parts store and buy the "Clymer" or "Haynes" guide for your particular vehicle. It's available on-line or perhaps Ebay. This book will illustrate every system in your vehicle, and how to diagnose and fix troubles. It’s written to the idiot level so a 13 year-old can use it. I imagine you could, too.
Finally – get it professionally done at your Nissan dealer. Bite the bullet. It will work properly, and look nice, etc.
The problem with neat performance upgrades is that we often overlook the time and expense of installing them, and to install shabbily defeats the whole purpose.
