I have a 2000 Dodge Caravan. 4.2L engine.

My left rear wheel has begun to squeel. I have found a friend to do the repair, but he said I need to pick up all the parts and such.
What exactly do I need to buy for him to fix my brakes?

I have an 01 Camaro SS that i plan on putting LT headers on. Is there really a big diffenace between the heat coated ones and the regular painted LT's? Money is somewhat an issue and I know the painted are cheaper but is there any real drawback to the painted LT's or is it just appearance? Thanks

I noticed a small, quarter size gap of paint missing from my rear bumper, there is a very very small scratch, but nothing to indicate it had been hit by another car.. I noticed after feeling it, some of the paint just flakes off.. I know this may be a sign of a poor quality paint job, as I had that bumper replaced nearly a year ago after someone rear ended me, but my friends say that the gap will continually grow larger as the paint falls off..I don't want to have to have the whole bumper sanded down and repainted just yet, it is costly.. what are my options?

I have a 1997 Toyota Carolla and I've been noticing lately that it accelerates a lot slower than it used to. Is it just getting old or is there some way I can fix it? (Preferably a cheap and easy fix...)

ok I bought a 96 talon from my work it had come in because the spark plug in #1 dropped the electrode and stalled. well we found that the compression was 90PSI on #1 and 170 on the other 3. well I took the head off and found that the electrode did a number on the head and piston. no holes in the piston or scratches on the cylinder walls. so I had the head resurfaced and a valve job done. I replaced the head gasket and and timming belt. now that I have it back together I'm gettin 180psi on #2,3,4 cylinders but only 135 on #1. I read on alldata that the minimum compression is 100Psi and the max difference between compressions is 25%. the difference between #2,3,4 and #1 is 25% should this be okay to drive? I really wouldn't want to have to rebuild the bottom after I just did the top

today my car started over heating and i cant fiqure out why. my inlet and outlet hoses fro my radiator seem to have pressure but when i disconnect both and try to blow through one it seems very hard to do. is it suppose to do that. ive tried flushing the system with water but has done nothing but over heat still. the fans are working and the oil is fine. what could it be. when when i disconnect either inlet or out let hose alone while running water comes out like it is passing through. does any one have any suggestions???? and if it is clogged in the engine block or the radiator how do i clear it.

My A/C will be cold when its not really hot outside, but when it is, it comes and goes, getting really hot when I idle but getting cooler when I start accelerating, then gradually staying hot. Is this a problem with the air compressor or is it getting low on C02?

How much does a radiator run for?

D/S engine mount broken R/A. Does this mean that the drivers side engine mount is broken for sure??

the 350 in my truck was just recently rebuilt, 0.30 over pistons, .20 under crank, .488 lift comp cams cam, lifters and springs. The problem is that sometimes there is a noise that comes from inside the engine, sounds like something is rattling against one of the counterweights on the crankshaft, took the oil pan off and found the oil pump pickup laying on the bottom of the oil pan, so I put the pickup back on and then tack welded like it was suppose to be. But the rattle is still there, not all the time, just when it's cold or I turn a corner really fast. I can sometimes hear it when I crawl under the hood and rev the engine really hard. Could something be broke in the transmission making that sound or could it be my flywheel doing it. Already ruled out dipstick, checked the torque converter bolts, and the bellhousing bolts. Although the bellhousing bolts were a little loose.

It sounds like a car does that has a weak battery, but the battery tests out perfectly at auto zone... it is a 1990 mecury sable 3.0 v6, but it only has 50k miles and has been sitting a bit and hardly drove at all during the 17 years of its age... Any idea why the hard starts every time???
