I've had the tracking checked, that is ok. Tyre pressures are all correct. It has power steering and isn't losing any fluid. It pulls left all the time whether I'm accelerating or braking. If I pull the steering wheel right it self-centres but if I pull it left it stays left. I've driven along flat surfaces to eliminate road camber and it still does it. If I drive on the wrong side of the road (I mean the right hand side!) it stays straight and doesn't follow the camber to right. Any ideas as to what could be wrong?

My dad has driven a stick for a years. there are times i allow him to borrow my car so he does not have to drive his huge truck to far away meetings. I just found out that when he has used my car (which is auto) he will pull up the emg break after he turns the car off. he is not on a hill either. Is this bad for the car?

I have a 1999 Honda Accord. Runs fine except it is hard to start when it is cold. It will start to turn over- but it won't "catch". Even after changing the battery (it was old and didn't have enough charge) the problem perisists. Car starts fine when it is above 0 celcius. Car does run a bit choppy untill it warms up (whether it is cold of not).

Any suggestion what it could be?

Thanks

It is below zero here today and my parking prake light is stuck on. This has never happened before today. After coming home last night (vehicle at opperating temp) and then the car sitting over night. I turned on the car and after letting it warm up for a few minutes I backed out and off I went. I notice that the parking brake light had not gone off, even though the lever was in the off position. It did not seem as though the brakes were sticking, but the light won't go away.

Continuing saga. I have a y reg 2001 picasso 2000HDI diesel that will not start. And the story goes like this. I have run out of diesel several times over the last couple of months. Stupid i no. But ever time it did run out. It put diesel back in and it started ok with out bleeding the system. But last week i drove home and the car was running fine. Only to find that i could not park. And yes the diesel was low. Then i found a space. Started the car went first time. Parked the car turned it of. Went to start it up the following morning. Did not start. It did go to fire at first. But then it was just turning over. So i put some fuel in it and it did not want to no. I have checked that fuel is getting to the injectors. And it seems to be. And i was givern some advise about changing the burners. Done that. and it still will not start. What am i missing. I'm no mechanic. Can some1 please help. I need good helpfull advise.
I have now spent to weekends on this car. And i have had enough.

I own a 1981 Ford LTD. I've totally restored it with blue paint, racing stripes, Grant steering wheel, dual hood scoops, crager mags, 351W engine, T5 transmission, dual hood scoops, diamond plate dash, new interior, etc. It's a really nice car that turns heads. Well, after spending all of this money and taking this car to shows and winning several awards, now the engine is a mess. The engine knocks horribly and when you start the engine, it forces the oil filter off and oil spills out everywhere. I really don't know what is wrong. Everyone keeps telling me that I'd be better off replacing the engine. Any advice from anyone???

I am helping a friend work on his truck. The truck is a 1970 but it is a conglomeration of parts from various trucks. The P.O. told him the motor was a 302 and recently it died on him. The truck will only run when you hold the throttle about half way open. The carb is a brand new aftermarket holly that has been on there for less than a month. The truck runs fine with the throttle open. He replaced the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor to see if that was why it would not idle and then it would not run . He called me to look at it and I checked it and found 2 wires were switched so I switched them back. This made it run worse and backfire. We looked in the manual and found that a 351/400 had a different firing order. We tried that order and it runs smoother with the throttle open but still does not idle. We replaced the brain box and coil but it made no difference. We need to tell which motor it is so we can buy a fuel pump for it. There are no stickers under the hood or on the motor.
