I recently bought a 93 Celica GT (2.2 L) and am planning on putting in a stage 3 turbo, but I've heard that I need a mess of other upgrades to my engine and computer to help them cope with all the new power. I need to know what I should get, and where to find it cheapest. So in the mean time, I'm going to start on the cars looks by installing a new body kit which I just won on E-Bay.

first I thought it was the tires, I replaced the tires and I did the alignment and it still shakes. It shakes when I accelerate at about 35 to 40 mph. When I release the gas pedal, it goes smooth but once I step on the gas pedal starts to shake again. Does anybody knows what its going on? I have pontiac grand prix 2000. I really appreciate all of your answers. I really need to know what its going on! Please help!!!!

i bought my new mazda end of april 2006 and a bit more than a month after, have been having problems with it. when i'm on the break at a red light and it's time to accelerate, the car shuts off and the lights on the dashboard go on. i have been to the dealer 3 times and they told me that there is no code in the car's computer but that it is in fact an internal problem. every time i went they changed a few engine parts (such as anti-pollutant valves, trottle body, and other parts telling me it would solve the problem). the damn car still chokes!!!

im honestly getting fed up cause they cant find the problem and im starting to think that my new car is simply a lemon. has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone know what it could be? and what can i do considering i havent even had my car for a year (less than 5000 km) and will practically end up getting a whole new engine by the time the warranty is over?

I was told of the possible causes of the wear of the back tyres in the shop. Some of the answers are in line with the ones I recieved so far. It has been established in the shop that the back tyres need alignment but that there are no provissions for adjustments on the back. I was told that there are provisions for adjustment in the front. The front alignment which has provission for adjustment is ok and there are no wears. The back tyres have so worn that the wires are exposed more on the side behind the driver seat than the passanger. What should I do to get the back tyres aligned. Where are adjustments for tyre alignment done to the back tyres of NISSAN XTERRA? Does it mean that NISSAN XTERRA's back tyres cannot be aligned? What happens in this kind of situation and what are the solutions. This is very frustrating. How do I get to the manufacturers to address this issue in addtion to what all of you are contributing? Thank you. AnietieB

We own an '04 Subaru Ouback H6 Anniversary edition. The dealership insists only putting premium gasoline in the car to prevent a knocking (?). However, some mechanic friends I know say it bs, but they don't specifically know about that type of car. Is there a difference for cars with high compression engines like my Subaru, or should I start going with lower grade gas?

My 2003 Cavalier's AC is Stuck. If you turn it to any setting but AC in the cabin, it starts making a mechanical knocking sound above the blower moter behind the glove compartment. Air does not blow out of middle vents on any setting and much harder on the outside vents. Is there a directional flap or door above the blower fan that could get stuck and if so, how can I fix it without a mechanic.

I own a 1984 firebird with a 305 V8 and the 700r4 tranny it isa 4-speed automatic. Whenever i drive it, it doesnt want to shift out of first gear until like 3500 rpm and it keeps on continuing through all the gears. But what ive figured out is if i pump the gas pedal really hard a few times before i turn on the car, then it runs perfectly. I talked to some of my buddies and they said it was either a modulator valve, the T.V. Cable, or the governor, i think its the valve. Does anybody know if i can do it myself and do i have to drop the tranny, Please give me detailed instructions. thanks

I have a four cylinder transmission, and it is automatic. When I drive it seems the gears from 1st to 2nd are getting stuck. I took it to a local transmission business, and they said that 2nd to 3rd were getting stuck and I should get it fixed fast. Estimated cost 995 dollars. I got a second opinon and they told me to try this product made by Lucas, and it helps fix the slip in transmissions. I am not sure if what to do? I heard the product was good. Should I get 2 bottles of it? Please help!!

So my car is a 93 Subaru Impreza with a manual transmission (don't know if that's important). It started making this weird clicking sound two days ago. I'm not a car person at all and the best way I can describe the noise is cards in the spokes of a bike. It seems to be connected with my RPMs - it's faster whenever I start the car or accelerate. I looked under the hood with it running and looking at it from the front of the car it seems to be coming from the left side near the silver tube things.

I've tried looking it up and have seen things about "pinking" but that seems to be related to gas and I've been using the same gas for five years. The day the noise started a friend of mine stalled the car (it was pretty loud) but I stalled that car plenty when I was learning to drive. Plus it started for me fine right after that - it was the next time that the noise started.

Lots of info but hopefully it gets me an answer. I'm hoping this may be inexpensive to fix. PLEASE help!
