There is no way to answer this question with any kind of accuracy. It depends on how old the car is, what condition it is in, what make and model it is and how many miles are on it.
Okay, lets say you put 12,000 miles per year on a 1999 Honda that has 90,000 miles on it. I would guess your cost to maintain it at about $600 (including tires, oil changes, and other minor things like wiper blades, brakes, etc.)

Expect $30.00 for each oil change. Tires rotate and Balance. Minor repairs such as flats, battery and other unexpecteds about $450-$600 a year is a good ballprk figure.

I have spent around $500 on scheduled maintenance for my Ford Focus in the past year, as it needed a new timing belt. No repairs.

I estimate around $1000 a year for a 99 F-250 super duty p/u with Diesel engine.

well my car is getting a little older now..the repairs going up now..i would say i average 75 a month..so about 900 per year now..

Well when it comes 2 cars theres things like major damages and things like oil changes, smog checks, flat tires and dead batteries. so i would say the anual price for major would be about 5,000 and price for smog and everything else would be close 2 1,000.

I got a '94 lebaron, i've had it for about 4 years and put 32,000 miles on it. I've spent about $2500 fixing it. (new trans costed about $1000)

repair-wise i have nothing for this year. maintainence is around $600 for the yr

$300.00 A large part of this expense is tires. I consider oil changes maintanence.
