I am planning to commute from Fairfield, CT to Secaucus, NJ. What is the cheapest and quickest way to do so? How much should I plan to pay for the trains? Can I save by driving partially to a mid-point train station? Do I need to pay parking fees at the train station?
Thanks

You are in the far right lane and someone is merging onto the
freeway. What would you do if this person was merging side-
by-side next to you? Would you slow down, or speed up, or...?

1) Let's say you're driving on the freeway in the right hand land and next to you in the left lane is an 18 wheeler that is signaling to get over into the right hand lane. Do you

A) Speed up and try to get in front before the truck can get over

b) Slow down and give the truck extra room to get over.

2) You're in the far left hand lane of a 3 lane freeway with an 18 wheeler next to you in the right lane and you notice you're exit fast approaching. Do you:

A) Cut across all 3 lanes in front of the truck to try to get off at your exit

B) Slow down and safely get over and get off at the next available exit.

3) You're in the right hand lane and you see a truck moving on the shoulder with it's left turtn signal on. Do you:

A) Do absolutely nothing and stay in your lane possibly preventing the truck from getting off the shoulder

B) Move over one lane so that the truck can safely get back onto the freeway.

Just curious as to how long it takes for your commute? I'm commuting to school and it takes almost 2 1/2 hrs there and back. What about everyone else.

I have yet to understand why more cars going in the same direction @ the posted limit slow traffic down if the speed is the same the rest of the time.

It doesn't make sense that soccer moms and the like get to use the carpool lane. If you are riding in a car and you are not a lisensed driver than you really aren't helping to alleviate congestion.

I am needing to hand in a mileage report to a former employer. How much are they paying per mile now and days?? My hubby says $.45 per mile, but I think it might be $.47 per mile. I live in Michigan, so I don't know if that changes anything.

TIA!!

Every weekday morning and evening, the roads in and around Watford town centre are almost grid-locked. What can we do to keep the traffic moving? Also, how can we reduce the overall amount of traffic in Watford?

I'll start you off...

#1. See that truck that just cut you off without signalling? He also has a #3, #8 and #24 sticker on his windshield and since he watches NASCAR every saturday, thinks he can drive like Dale Jarrett and cut people off without signalling...

#2. Budweiser Brains...you figure it out.

Who's got more?
