I am needing to hand in a mileage report to a former employer. How much are they paying per mile now and days?? My hubby says $.45 per mile, but I think it might be $.47 per mile. I live in Michigan, so I don't know if that changes anything.

TIA!!

I know that it does not depend on what the employer wants to pay you. It's what the State mandates as the mileage rate.

If it was up to the employer......they would pay nothing.

The same as the other 49 states. It's regulated by the IRS. Go to IRS.gov to find the latest rate.

That all depends on your employer and what their rate is for mileage reimbursement.
