Im headed to NYC and reserved a towncar to pick me up. I was hoping I could have him wait with a sign inside to pick me up but instead they told me I have to call a number when I get there and have him meet me out front. Any body know a taxi service to take me from LGA to 308 W. 93rd St for around 35.00 plus tips and tolls that does the sign service? Its something that Ive wanted since I was a kid. Lol. I know, Im an idiot. But everyones got dreams right? Mines to have my name on a piece of 10x10 poster board. lol.

Hi I was wondering if there is any shortcut(avoiding the horrendous 405 freeway) from the city of Hawthorne(near the southbay) to UCLA? It about 16.7 miles away from UCLA, but the traffic makes it so bad.

I used the 405 to culver city by LA cienga exit, but traffic is still horrible in the city, is there a 405 freeway in the city? I can't find it.

I live in a area when the major traffic is funneled into one road and you can sit there forever trying to get onto the main road. Poor planning and growth. My job requires me to drive around 800 miles a week in 2 days so I was just curious to why some people drive the way they do.

Back in the early 1990s every time I went to the services on the M25 there would be 1 or 2 cars with a couple of smartly dressed men inside calling out to people walking past, including me.
When I went to see what they wanted, the passenger had a cloth on his lap which he removed to reveal a tray full of watches. They were different men each time I saw them but they had the same spiel each time,
"Hello, these are left over from a promotion we've been running in Tonbridge and we are offering them at the vastly reduced price of £300 each".
I assumed they were just dodgy geezers, but it seemed such a bizarre way to flog watches I wondered if there was something else going on.
Haven't been there for at least 10 years, they may still be there!

I almost got creamed by a speeder who figured they would make a run from one "pack" of cars on the freeway to another by "hiding" in the slow lane. Speeders and law enforcement, please reply.
