Curious about how tough the commute is. Are the trains on time? Can you get a seat? Which trains are least crowded during rush hour in/out?

If you drive fast you'll get to your destination quicker? But if you drive slow maybe it'll save more gas until you hit "empty" on your car?

Our community will be starting a shuttle service in the next few weeks & we are looking for a cute & catchy name for it. Any ideas? We will be serving commuters in the morning & evening from the train station to outlying business districts and during the middle of the day it will be used by seniors, youth and anyone needing transportation around town.

I can not tell you how many times I see people in the left lane fix there speed at the exact limit and thumb their nose or seem oblivious that they are causing backups and accidents! Everyday in the Bay Area, I see mostly asian and indians think they have the right to 'cruise' in the the fast lane! I just came back form France...you know what they do? THEY ARE COURTEOUS TO OTHERS by not staying in the left lane, leaving it open for passing. AND THEY USE THEIR TURN SIGNALS!!

BY law, the speed limit of any given road is the amount of speed safe under the conditions (weather) and driving, keeping up with traffic. So for all those victims of road rage, GOOD!! YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN DOING 55mph in the left lane on a 70MPH stretch!!!

WHY do you think you have the right to use any lane other than the right one, to crusie at the posted speed limit!!!!

I know during off-peak hours, it's less then 30 min, but never tried it during morning traffic. I want to get to the airport no later then 7:30am. For those who have driven there, I greatly appreciate your input on how much time to allocate in getting there. Thanks.

Today as I was driving home and taking the 1-10 freeway from Pasadena to Los Angeles, I made a left turn while it was still yellow but turn red half way as I turn. The traffic light is a little different. You can't turn right on red because they have the green signal on when you can turn. Then after the green signal is gone for turning left, it will starts to blink yellow meaning you can still turn, but you have to yield to other drivers on the other side, and then after it stop blinking after a few seconds, it will turn solid yellow and turn red. I don't remember which street it was on though. The reason that I am worry because there is a camera there and they are everywhere in Pasadena. Will I get a ticket for it (they will likely send you a ticket through mail). So what do you think?

P.S. I am still pretty new to driving, only got my license for close to 3-4 months already.

I am usually a real laid back, patient person, except for when I am driving. I hate the way people drive, and I have a serious case of road rage! What kind of things make you cuss people out in your car?

1. Not using your turn signals

2. Darting out in front of me, then driving slow

3. Driving slow period

4. Sitting at a red light where you can turn on red, but the person in front of you waits for the green light to turn. uugghh!

5. When people pull up on the right side of a car, but are not turning right. That stops the cars behind you who are actually turning right.

6. People who block the intersection

7. When I let you in front of me and you don't give me a "thank you" wave.

and last but not least:

8. Old People! I think there should be a federal law in place to make seniors re-take their drivers test when they turn a certain age. They just drive, and don't have a clue of whats going on around them.

I know I have alot:)

I want to park down one off of Wimbledon High Street, but before you actually get into the one way system. I've heard different things though; some people say don't even try and other people say that after a certain time (6pm I think) it's okay. Does anyone know? I don't want to get clamped, fined or worse.

Yesterday I was traveling on a long stretch of road with a couple of speed white painted lines on the road every so often. I was just crusing at about 100mph and forgot about my speed and suddenly noticed a police van parked up in the distance right along a set of speed white lines. When I suddenly slowed down, question is the road is a long straight, does anyone know do they get you right from a set distance like when I would of been doing 100mph or just when you go over the lines that they are parked up next to? Cheers
