IN CT we are at.....$ 2.69 0r $ 2.75 here!
I would stop driving at $ 5.00 here. It all depends on what income your at. and how important it is for you to be where u need to drive to. I would def. limit my driving to work and local driving at $ 4.00 a gallon. I would try to carpool and look for other transportation ways.

I'm converting my vehicle to LPG............... GO FIGURE.
In my state only 2% of the residents utilize public transit funded by sales tax and amount of taxes requires majority
vote from all registered to cast one. This means if the public wants to stop public transit by vote they can or if economy is
in recession the limited tax revenue can stop public transit.
Having such transit means it can vanish on short notice.
Suggest purchase of the electric/pedal push 'Yo Byke'.

NEVER! I was saying the same thing when gas was 65 cents a gallon.

WHATEVER the price is, we will pay it and drive, wont we?

Right or wrong, fair or unfair, we will pay.

WTF! I stopped paying decades ago, at 15 cents per gallon!
Broadband internet, however! It's a good thing the prices are dropping, because I'd pay up to $500 per month, and then cry until I was institutionalized!
