This is such an annoying thing, I turned while the light was green, I went slow (15 mph), probably that was the problem, but there were pedestrians, so I could not go faster. Anyways, I want to fight this ticket, but the at the original court date I will be out of country. When I went online, I got 2 options, I can delay the court date until august, or I can make an appointment and go to court, anytime before I leave the Country. In your opinion, does it give me a better chance to delay the courtdate, or to walk in, and try to defend myself ASAP? Looking forward to hear about your court experiences.

What are everyone's thoughts about gas prices, but also if this country will every change from using gas as a fuel and turn to another source?

From what I've read about statistics, even with rising gas prices continuing to break record prices, Americans are not reducing their driving. What are you doing (if anything) in response to the rising costs of fuel? Have prices changed your driving habits?

For instance, I need to know "turn at the third light after Joe Street" or "pass 2 lights, make a right at third light where you will see a MacDonalds on the corner."

Otherwise, I tend to get lost, and have a hard time reversing directions, and tend to panic. Any ideas to help me?

It is being said that today's prices are "worse than the 1981 oil shock".

Gas now at it's highest level, even adjusted for inflation; AAA's reading of nearly $3.20 a gallon marks ninth straight record high.

As of yesterday (late Sunday) a price of unleaded was $3.18 per gallon, up more than 11 cents from two weeks ago.

Is this a "budget buster" for you yet.?
or are you just taking this "all in stride"?

1.) no hurricanes
2.) not summer
so why is it so high? and when a hurricane does flood new orleans this year how high will THAT gallon go up? combine a hurricane, with summer, with terroists hitting the oil reserve in saudi arabia, and you got ten dollar gallon gas..........
but none of that has happened!!!!! (yet) so why is it so high?

and to the car techies out there, why do we need gas in the first place? why won't any other liquid work. in fact, what does gas DO once you start your car?

Gas prices are killing me in the USA. I am looking for an all electric vehicle that can travel on the interstate without being tossed around and blown around by the BIG RIGS. It would also be nice to find such a vehicle that can be driven up to an hour or two at highway speeds while using airconditioning and the sterio etc.
Is there such a vehicle and where can I find one?

This is just nuts, how do we afford to live with raising costs and drive to work too? I refuse. I will move closer to work and walk. What a bunch of crap, big oil companies being allowed to practice price gouging.? Why do we have to put up with this?

They must love it. Why? The Americans pay for the gas twice a week when they fill up. They complain but continue to buy and pay.
