They took money out of my checking acct.charged me twice for insurance and they owe me $350 .Has anyone else sued these crooks? call antono garcia at avis and ask him why.1-619-247-4789

Do a charge-back, call your bank and explain whats going on, say it was not an authorized charge and make sure you didnt sign saying you approved it.

When you rent a car with a debit card, they must take out a deposit out of your account because ther is no way to put a hold on the debit card the way you could with a Credit Card.
Always use a major credit card anytime you rent a car. The holds usually drop off between 4-10 business days. So you can see where this might be a problem for you when using a debit card.
How do you know they charged you twice for the insurance?

Never always found them to be a first class operation.
Never a complaint agaist this company. Sorry that you had a bad experience.
