God I wish I could carry everything I need for work on a motorcycle.

Gas is over $3 a gal here in Arkansas. Minimum wage is $5.15 and most people drive long distances from rural areas to go to work spending well over $100 a week for gas.

Do the math, someone has to stop this madness. Either raised minimum wage......or lower the price of gas.

How about this.........make rich people pay more for gas so that poor people can get it cheaper? Sounds good to me!

Look around you. How many Hummers, Suburbans, and other ridiculously gigantic vehicles do you see driving around?

Look at Wahington. Guaranteed, bankable domestic oil reserves go untapped due to bogus envrionmental objections. Do you see any other country on Earth leaving reserves untapped because a caribou walks over that land twice a year?

Look at China. Two billion living souls and a rapidly industrializing economy. You think America's oil usage is outrageous? Wait until the Chinese start "needing" two or more cars per household and start "needing" Hummers and Range Rovers...

Look at nuclear power. Why hasn't any of the new, safe, clean nuclear power plants been built?

Look at refineries. We have fewer active refineries in America today than we had 20 years ago, but we refine nearly twice as much oil into gasoline. These plants are working at almost full capacity, yet no investment in new refineries has been made.

The fact is this. Oil prices are governed by such a complex set of influences that maybe No One in the World understands it completely. You cannot simply blame Exxon or Texaco or a politician.
