I'm willing to wait and let them be expensive long enough to get people to stop driving those stupid road-hog SUVs. My sensible vehicle is not costing me too much money. :-)

In the end, however, the secret to lowering the prices is simple: use less gas. Walk. Ride a bike. Get a better car. Drive slower. Take public transportation. The other option? Quit whining. If you don't want to do these things, then you are going to pay for expensive gas. Too bad.

I am capable of driving less than ten miles a day - to work and back. I can get food at work. I also have a good bike. I realize that I am an exception, being single with no kids or other social obligations. I don't want or need much.

Dunno what one can do, gas prices are so high that pretty soon I'll practically have to push my car just to get anywhere lol.
