Stink, this really isnt a question, so dont bother answering it. But Fords are definately the WORST cars ever built. Old Fords (76 and Earlier) are decent, but after that they sucked. I know I wasted 5 points but who cares? Oh well, Chevy is, and always will be, The King.

when i first got it, it was working well. but now. when i fill up my tanks. the switch is on front tank. and it takes gas from the front and the back. and when it gets to about 3/4 tank in the rear. its stops taking gas from the rear. and of course its not supposed to because the switch is on the front. 1996 Ford Taurus GL produces no heat or cool air.

Air motor responds to all four speed control settings with a low to high pitch whirring, but no air is moved. Engine temperature normal even for extended driving periods [hours of driving]. On AC setting, it sounds like compressor is engages.

Just before it stopped working it sounded like something in the air system was banging around. Now, it occasionally will bang around some more, but still without moving any air [hot or cold].

My uneducated guess is that the fan/blower has stopped turning or is damaged, or there is a belt that helps this fan/blower to turn which has broken/come unattached.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Isn't bad for the v6, more so a v8 engine?

I have an 89 ford mustang gt 5.0 5 speed and I cannot start the car. It will not even turn over. We charged the battery for 3 hours with a car battery charger and we also tried to jumpstart the car but everything has failed! Please please help. I have no clue what's wrong with my car. I usually can figure just about anything out about it but this has just got me stumped. Also I want to add, I even tried popping the clutch with the key on and the car in 3rd gear, but that failed also!

This is such an iconic American muscle car, surely there must be people here (who can afford exotic sports cars) who would like to drive one here, but till this day I have yet to see one in Singapore.. There are cars like Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche that are seen on the streets, and the Mustang GT is way cheaper than any of these cars.

A new 2007 V6 Mustang GT would be US$17k to US$20k, so which means a US$20,000 car would be S$30,346 based on the latest exchange rate of 1.5173.

COE is around $19k, is that right?

That would be a total of around $50,000 so far.

Could someone help me out on the insurance part? That is what I'm really unsure about. Say, for a 4.0L V6 Mustang GT, which is the cheapest of the current models.

Also, how much would it cost to ship in this car, and how much would it cost to change the transmission and the pedals into a right hand drive for our roads, or is Ford able to do that first before shipping out the vehicle?

Any other expenses?

I came across another similar question. But I would like to ask more in detail about one monthly expenses a Mustang in this country. I did some research:

The lowest range 2005 Mustang GT uses a 4.0L Cologne V6 engine, and Road Tax = $1525 + 1 x (engine capacity - 3000) per 6 months, so for a 4.0L car it would be $1525 + 1 x (EC of 4000 - 3000) = $2525 for half a year, a year would be $5050. There is a discount on Road Tax from 1 Sep onwards so it would be $4646 for every year subsequently. (5050 x 0.92) So which means a month = $388.

As for fuel, for a 4L car it would cost $150 for a full tank, so perhaps pump up full tank say twice a month would be $300.

Parking = $60 a month. For HDB parking.

Therefore the total expenditure per month would be $748, we can round it off to $780 for including other expenses.

My question is this: Am I missing out any other stuff needed to pay per month? And is any of the above figures incorrect?

Ford holds the record for the most cars in a single recall 7.9 million cars in 1996 for defective ignition switches that could cause a car to catch fire.Just announced there is another recall for the cruise control there have been six recalls since 1999 totalling 10.4 million cars again the problem can cause the car to catch fire. The insurance institute said of the last generation f150 that they didn't believe they had ever tested a vehicle that did as poorly in a crash test. The early mustangs had a drop in gas tank that acted as the trunk floor and were known to cause the car to burst into flames in a rear end collision filling the passenger compartment with flaming fuel.the pinto is known for dropping it's drive shaft and rupturing the gas tank bursting into flames.I have followed cars for years and i don't believe there is another car manufacturer with a worse safety history or a worse recall history I challenge you to show proof of a car manufacturer with a worst history for both.
