OH YES.

IT'S A GREAT CAR FOR A 17 YEAR OLD GUY.

IF YOU CAN AFFORD BIG INSURANCE FEES GO FOR A GT.

OTHER THAN THAT EVEN A V6 IS AMAZING.
IT'S GREAT FOR A 17 YEAR OLD DRIVER AND SHOULD BE VERY COMFY FOR YOU.

GOOD LUCK WITH IT.

If you get the V6, get a 5 spd manual. The new V6 Mustangs with manuals are faster than the 94-98 V8 Mustangs were stock. The reliability has been shown to be good on this car. They also do pretty good on gas. Take one for a test drive and find out if you like it. I would say to buy it. Don't go the GTO route, I don't know what that other guy was smoking, but there is no reliability report that rates the GTO as more reliable than the Mustang. Plus you end up with somebody's old ragged on car.

why you gonna get a mustang with a V6? That's a girls engine. If you buy a sports car without the V8, you're wimping out.

You'd be better off buying an older (02-04) car. You can find a good deal if you look hard enough.

Don't waste your time with mustags. My Ford Focus st170 does 140mph and 0-60 in under 7.4 seconds. pulls much quicker than most mustangs. Mustangs have big engines in them that are frankly crap. I mean a 4.0l mustang normally can only produce 200 BHP where as Fords european Focus can get 220bhp out of a 2.2litre.

If you are going for a Mustang you might as well go for an older 05 GT it has way better performance and you can find them for very decent prices, and 17 is kind of young to be stuck with brand new car payments.

It's a great car and you would love it. However, do you want to get strapped with a car payment at your age. You may need the money if you go to college. Want to buy a home, or get married. I would try to stay out of debt and build up some cash reserves. You have a lot of expenses coming up and it would be nice to have the money to pay the bills.

Good luck to you dude.

No.

You should buy a used GT instead. Theyre far better cars, and actually somewhat sporty, unlike the v6s.

Actually, you should buy a used pontiac GTO. More powerful, reliable, nicer interior, more comfy, and a better motor. One of the best deals on the market right now.

No. I think you should buy the GT if you are getting a Mustang. Its not that much more than the V6.
