The button fell off and now the mechanism is caved in, so I can not start the car. I have to push the button and turn the key at the same time to start the car. How can I by-pass this and start my car without pushing the button?

Just like the title. I am wondering if the radiator cooling fans are the same in the following year/model mustangs:

*1994-1995 GT
*1994-1995 Cobra
*1994-1998 V6 mustang

I am pretty sure the GT and Cobra share identical fans, but do the V6 mustangs also share the same fan/wiring setup? The reason is that I am looking for a new radiator cooling fan and most auto places are not sure or they simply do not have any thing documented for a V8 (1994-95 mustang).

BTW, the stock 1994-1995 GT/Cobra fan motor is a 2 speed motor.

my car runs from point A to point B. one day it started shutting off. for some reason i turned off the a/c. the problem went away. time passes and it gets cold outside. i turn on the heat. 20 minutes later the sputtering returns. i turn off the heat, the sputtering stops. any ideas?

I have a "92" Ranger that has burned oil since I bought it back in "2002". The question is..Is it something to be concerned about? It doesn't smoke & it runs good. but since I've had it, every 3 months I get the oil changed & always have to add a qt of oil just before oil change time. I have another problem & need to know if I should look into purschasing a new vehichle. I love my truck but do not want to put any more money into something that may need "burying" Anyway. The other problem.. mechanic says I am running on only one cyl.. (free check test) Any input would be appreciated..

they are way too underpowered for a 3.9l engine.
it should be closer to 300 not 200

My 88 Mustang LX recently began shutting off in the middle of driving. Like, I'll be driving and my radio will start to cut out, then all of the sudden the car dies. If I put it in park or neutral, it starts right back up. My dad has looked at it and can't figure out what it might be - we've replaced the battery, the battery cables, water pump, etc. Any ideas?

Mum has a Laser and it has always been reliable and excellent even though she services it like every three years... but Dad is totally against Fords, he says if you can't take a joke then you shouldn't own a Ford... but I think he's being an idiot about it. Well it started out of nowhere.. The Clutch goes all the way to the floor and you can't shift it into any gears you can shift it when the car is off but when the key is turned on it stay's in whatever gear you have it in.. Any idea what's wrong? im thinking linkege maybe? If you have any idea please let me know Thanks

to me it seems pointless...10 cylinders making less torque than a diesel, less horsepower than a v8, all while getting about 7-8 to the gallon. why did they make these? why do they continue to make them? why don't people just get diesels if it's power they're looking for?
