i just got a 1994 ford tempo what would be a faster engine i could put in it that would fitl.

how much did you pay for the car? i bet you would spend more money putting a different engine inside it the the car. what are you thinking?

It all depends on how much money you have. In theory you could shoe horn a 4.6L 4v engine from a 95-99 Continental. It would require a ton of fab work. The 3.0L V-6 Vulcan out of Taurus/Sable would be a direct bolt in. Tempo came with that set up last year of production. By the way, a 4.6L 4v worked nice in a Windstar, shocked the hell out of a lot of people with that combo.

dont know why n e 1 would want to beef up a 94 TEMPO, but to each his own, try checking specs on ford 2.9L v6

they came out wih a 2.3 inline 4 and also 3.0 V6
