i own a repair shop,,and my first choice is Michelin tire there the top tire on the market right now,,next to them is good year,,they are also rated pretty good too but if its dependability and reliability your looking for Michelin would be the tire to go with,i use them on all the vehicles i service,and customers have no complaints from them at all,good luck i hope this help,s

As they said, one of the best is Michelin tires.. A little of a hard ride, but that's just because they wear very slow.
Other good ones are the Goodyears, Pirelli, and BF goodrich
On value lines, I like Uniroyal and one called Republic tires (Made by Goodyear and found at the Goodyear tire dealer)
Firestone, Bridgestone, and cooper seem to be some good tires but I don't have as much first hand experience with them as I would like
Stay away from General and Mastercraft .. Both can be crappy tires as they have a tendency of having issues with them like belt seperation and such

Goodyear...I have a 99 with it's second set on it after 104, 000.
Will be buying set #3 soon....I stick with these b/c of good results.

bridgestone duelers... dont get goodyear they are junk.
Go to Tirerack.com it has the ratings for just about every tire and the bridgestone duelers are rating the highest
