I have been told that late model Mk.2's had the 4 round headlights similar to the Mk.3, but I'm not sure. My Mk.2 had square ones.

Also... How much should I think about paying for a fair condition running Mk.2 with MOT.

engine pings about 45mph under light load or going up small hill. ping will stop if i step down and it downshifts to lower gear. have tried additive: still pings. ping will stop if i use higher octane gas, but dont want to do this all the time. was told it may be air flow sensor. is there anything i can do to clean the sensor or otherwise fix this problem. dont want to take to shop and have them throw parts at the problem. thanks for any help.

I might buy a 69 Ford Ranchero GT, what sort of preformance mods could/should I get? It has a 390 engine, and to my knowledge, no mods. I would provide more information, but this is all I know of it so far. Im thinking new carb, MSD ignition, hooker headers, etc... Anything else?
