definitely Ford. If it wasn't for Henry Ford there wouldn't be a chevy or a honda or a toyota. Ford revolutionized the auto industry to what it is today. If anyone is driving a chevy of a hyundai or a honda they should thank Ford that they are driving that car. Ford's been around for 100 yrs. Honda's been around for 33 yrs.

really there all about the same they all make great cars and they all make some lemons. Ive had ford, GM, Toyota, and Honda. the GMs have been the best for me the Honda was the worst. but really there all good go for cheap because a car isnt worth a dime after you drive it a while why take a huge loss when you can take a small loss? I bought a 05 cobalt last year for 12,000 it now has over 45,000 miles on it with NO problems I could have paid 18,000 for a honda and still get nothing for either in 3 years, the way I see it Im up 6 grand.

Taking you question 'As Is': The answer is neither of them, both rank in the average in problems per hundred vehicles. In 2004, Chevy 120 pph, Ford 127pph. So next time you need to choose between these two brands just go ahead and pick the model you like better.

Being a Ford person I'd have to say it depends on what you're using the vehicle for. But from personal experience it really doesn't matter what you drive as long as you take care of your vehicle. Most automobiles will last a very long time as long as you do the required preventative maintenance as suggested in the owners manual. Oh yeah I almost forgot to tell you the most important point. Don't listen to the inbred idiots who love to use acronyms.
