what do you prefer and why?

Both pretty accomplished cars - but you can't compare. One's a hatch back run about, albeit a bloody fast one, the other bigger and more flexible because of it. I'd take the Focus if it was me all the way, the Mondeo if I had journey's with passengers/family...

Focus ST by far. slightly quicker, much better handling and you'll be able to sell it on in a few years without loosing to much value......fast mondeo's never sell....fast focus like hot cakes!!!

have a look at the st150 diesel mondeo still looks good almost a match in performance more torque and better fuel economy!!!!
