On our truck ( 1990 Ford Ranger, my dad won it from Menards ) we are having a problem. Gas is being sucked into the brake booster. I took it into my Auto Class in school and when we were done with it the brakes gave out. My dad drove it home and we replaced it. Then we looked at it again and can smell gas in it. The truck also doesn't start very good. We changed one of the spark plugs on it too. Our next diagnosis is to look at the fuel injectors. My auto teacher isn't even sure why this is happening. Please help so I can drive it again.

We bought a nice 2003 Ford ranger - very nice truck. However about every 250 miles it will occasionally be hard to put into first or second gear. You really have to slam it in gear, like if you did not have the clutch in. But the clutch is in. We took it to the dealership we bought it from and they say it's not broke! Has anyone had this same kind of problem with their ranger or explorier? It is 4 wheel drive.

I got into my car the other day and the windshield wiper motor still runs but the blades dont move. (The blades move in unison when you push on one of them, they still rotate) I think the linkage might be broke between the motor and the blades themselves. Does anyone know how to repair/replace the linkage. I'm not too bad with cars, so a site with pictures would be cool so I can fix it cheap myself.

It was overheating, a/c & heat doesn't work. Knew it must need a new radiator and brought it in. The mechanic tells me that the radiator, front breaks, & heating coil need replacing. It should cost about $1200.00. This is a make or break deal, I guess. I don't have the money, (just got a job after 8 months out-of-work), but could really use the car. Is it worth it? If not, what would be a reasonable selling price? Thanks so much for the help. I really appreciate it. - DLee

Eventually I am going to get a true dual set up with no muffler , but first i wanna just weld a cut out on b4 the muffler that way if i need to i can keep the sound down , my question is if i throw the cut out pipe in front of the muffler i won't have any problems will I ? because it will be after the cats but before the muffler and ...will it have any bad effects on the motor or just make it loud without any problems , I'll appreciate any imput , thanks

What ranges should I look for?
Truck was intermittently stalling, no Check Engine Light or codes but symptoms pointed to TPS, so I changed it. Now getting Code 122, seems like maybe the new TPS is bad.

Our 1993 Ford Aerostar has suddenly went kaput. We tried to start it today and all we hear is a 'click!' Just one click, and nothing happens. Our radio still works, but the van doesn't start. We tried to replace the battery, but that didn't help. What else could the problem be? Selanoid (sp?)?

We got diesel fuel with water in it and the truck started running like really bad and we think it was the injectors and we replaced them and it runs better is there a way to test them

I'd replaced the engine about 10,000 miles ago & it worked fine until about 3 months ago. So after driving it that long I've ruled out the oil pump itself. It would've wrecked the engine if it was the oil pump. What is the chance that it's the oil sending unit?

i have a 01 for tuarus and the heater in it isnt working. it isnt even really drawing any heat from the motor. I was wondering what the problem could be. it is a very litle warm like maybe 60-70 on its hotest temp and it should be sweating us out and we are barley not frozen.
