I owned a 1968 Ford Torino wagon with a V8 engine. This is a smaller car than the Lincoln Continental but it still might compare somewhat. I got about 25 MPG on the highway and around 20 MPG in town. From this, I estimate that the 1967 Lincoln Continental's gas mileage would be around 15-18 MPG city and 20-22 MPG highway.

These cars were 3 tons and had 460 engines. They were not fuel efficient at all. Plan on never getting better than 17 or 18 mpg on the highway, especially since they didn't have overdrives.
