What ranges should I look for?
Truck was intermittently stalling, no Check Engine Light or codes but symptoms pointed to TPS, so I changed it. Now getting Code 122, seems like maybe the new TPS is bad.

Changed the fuel filter last month. Also cleaned the throttle body, changed air filter, ran Berryman's through the fuel a couple times with fill ups. Changed the ignition module (notorious for going out) and has had a tune up earlier this year, new plugs, wires, etc. Runs good, intermittently stalls. Changed TPS, now doesn't stall but shows error code 122. Suspecting new TPS is bad, need to know how to test it? Thanks!

What else would cause code 122, TPS under voltage?

How do you line a TPS up with throttle plate or check to see if it is correct?

Sounds like either wrong tps or it is not aligned up with the throttle plate. Stalling could be IAC valve and throttle plates needs cleaning- Voltage should be 1.0 volts at idle and 4.5 to 5.0 volts at WOT

Use an analog multimeter. You want to test the resistance of the sensor. (you want to us a analog meter because it has a needle and you can see how it moves.) when you have the ends connected move the sensor from closed to Wide open. do not go to quickly a smooth motion is what is needed. if the needle stops, drops, rises and drops anytime during the test it is likely the sensor is bad. I would repeat the test 3 or 4 times to see if the results are the same. a good sensor will have a smooth motion with the needle.

If you did't get a tps code it probably wasn't the problem. Whens the last time the fuel filter was replaced? Sounds simple but I've seen it alot, more so on the dual tank f-150's.

If you buy electronic parts from a part house, it might not be calibrated with the computer of your truck.
Check the ignition timing with a timing light.

it is basic to do, notwithstanding the worst element about it is that the screws that carry it have "lock tight" on them. this is positioned on the throttle body, in basic terms persist consisting of your air purifier duct.
