Ford, change the h2o sensor on the right side, or where cylinder no. 1 is.

Disregard the posts advising a clogged fuel filter etc. The 02 sensor, or wiring sounds more on track. Normally, if it's BOTH banks lean, it means you have a vacuum leak of some sort. Hope this helps.

Well it means you have a Fuel air mix problem and it's on one side of your block. If you have a V type engine each side is labeled as Bank 1 and Bank 2

This sounds like a 3.8 liter V-6 with a plastic intake manifold to me. You may have to take this car, van in to test the O2 sensors first. But the intake manifold may need to be replaced as this could be letting excess air that's diluting the air/fuel mixture and leaning it out. Hope this helps.

would desire to be your intake manifold gasket. If the motor vehicle is taking in too plenty air, it throws off the carb. that's rather flooding the engine. you would be able to desire to pull out a spark plug and verify it, yet whilst the engine is working too lean, that's extra of an air leak. If it isn't the intake manifold gasket, verify all your hoses and make useful they are on tight and have not any leaks.

The problem sounds like the oxygen sensor. If you know someone who can reset the code in your cars computer, let them do that & then monitor your check engine light.
