Just like the title. I am wondering if the radiator cooling fans are the same in the following year/model mustangs:

*1994-1995 GT
*1994-1995 Cobra
*1994-1998 V6 mustang

I am pretty sure the GT and Cobra share identical fans, but do the V6 mustangs also share the same fan/wiring setup? The reason is that I am looking for a new radiator cooling fan and most auto places are not sure or they simply do not have any thing documented for a V8 (1994-95 mustang).

BTW, the stock 1994-1995 GT/Cobra fan motor is a 2 speed motor.

To Gvapor:

Sorry carparts.com does not even list a radiator cooling fan for a 1994 or 1995 mustang. Whats worse is that they list a fan clutch. The problem with that is that 94-95 mustangs had electric fans. Where would a "clutch" go on an electric fan??

If I remember correctly, the fans should be the same. Both should be two speed fans, three wires going to the fan. Low Speed=general cooling, High Speed=A/C on, Hi Temp Cooling, and a ground. Haven't seen a 94 since 1992. By the way the dealer was a good recommendation. Just call for price and availability.

i wanted a pretty blue fan to go with my polish on my old 5.0. wasnt happening. nothing would work with the temp clutch so i opted for the 351 serpentine drive clutch and repaired my bent fan, which often seen 6000+ rpm when i was in the mood. i restamped the rivets,3 blades bent, 1 with a missing rivet and 1 with loose rivets. i didnt want a flex fan because the front airdam and the narrow grill opening as well as 2 core crossflow with a stock 195 degree thermostat.
the fan held better than my temper and frustration when i finally told the parts guy(not my parts guy) what have you got thats pretty.
