The button fell off and now the mechanism is caved in, so I can not start the car. I have to push the button and turn the key at the same time to start the car. How can I by-pass this and start my car without pushing the button?

Ford also sold this kit as well. To unhook it you will have to go under the dash at the steering column and cut the wires that the alarm kit goes into the ign switch and splice the original wires back together. The wires are for the starter wire. There may be some other wires that you will have to hook back up as well to remove the kit. I have installed many of these kits

sounds like you may have an aftermarket starter or alarm system that possibly the previous owner installed. I would take it to Best Buy or someone who can uninstall the alarm system. They should be able to bypass all that mumbo jumbo.
