We brought our in our 2001 Chrysler mini-van for new tires and asked them to check the breaks as well. They quoted $1100 to fix the breaks. I didn't think breaks were that expensive.

I have a 2004 PT Cruiser. Why is it doing this and what can I do to make it stop? It's still under warranty, but it's kinda hard for me to make it to the dealership, I have a 7 month old baby who I don't want to tote down there and we'll have to sit around and wait forever.

I need an ignition key made for an '01 Chrysler LHS. Didn't this year have car keys with the electronic detectors in them thus requiring a special key technique/equipment? Where do you go for such a thing. How much are the spare keys?
Thanks

I bought a new Chrysler Pacifica. It has been serviced 3 times. It's the converter. It still isn't fixed. Is it a lemon? What is the law in New Jersey?

I have a 1996 Chrysler Concorde LX. Once the engine is warm, it seems to want to jerk when applying gas to accelerate. If I go into idle, the car dies.

Today, when in idle the car died, and it took me 15 minutes to get it to start. The engine would turn, a/c and radio turned on. But would not actually start. I thought it might of been the air filter or oil filter, so I had both replaced along with the PCL valve (i think that was what it was called) along with oil and coolant fluids yesterday. Still no luck. Any ideas

I found a few online for 10-12 Grand, but I'm not sure if these cars have problems or not. Let me know if you have heard anything about it or own one.

Daimler practically gave away Chrysler to Cerebus Capital. This financial co. will break up Chrysler and sell off any pieces to turn a profit. DO NOT buy a Chrysler because they wont be around 5 years from now (and they have the industry worst warranty)

I have a question about the Chrsyler Newport's?

Weren't they competitive with the lower priced full size cars such as the Ford Galaxie 500, Chevrolet Impala, Dodge Polara, Mercury Monterey and Pontiac Catalina or were they more upscale than those cars? I know that the Newport was the entry level model for Chrysler back in the 1960s and up to the mid 1970s.

My Roadrunner has a 383, slap-stik auto combo with an 8 3/4 open end (At least I don't think that it's a Sure-grip). The car has been sitting for a number of years. This afternoon I tried to move it using a pickup truck and chain. The car pulled forward no problem, but when I hooked on from behind and tried to pull it backwards, the rear wheels wouldn't spin. I jacked the rear end up thinking that the rear brakes were frozen, as I was removing the wheel I discovered that the wheels and the driveshaft both turned well, but only in one direction, the E-brake was not engaged. To get the wheels to turn in the opposite direction just wasn't happening. What could be wrong with the car? Any thoughts?
