The battery was hooked up with reversed polarity, What damage may this have caused ?

Just sparks. Sometimes reversing polarity can rejuvinate a weak battery.

Well one it could short your hole car out, blow fuses, bblow battery up, short ouy battery, kill some of the electrical divices like your sterio system, or just spark. Never a good idea to hook up backwards.

no damage but you do have to let the battery go dead and charge it up the right way. if it is a computer car we don't know the damage

i did the same thing and i had some problems to solve here are some of them i had to replace the alternator fuse and had to have the computer reprogram sure hope you did not do any of these good luck.
