check the wheel bearings. jack the wheel off the ground that is making the noise, and try wiggling it back and forth, and up and down (one hand on top of the tire and one on the bottom). if it moves at all, especally up and down, it is probally the wheel bearing and need to be repaired right away, or the wheel could come off while driving. otherwise, check your brakes. they may need serviceing.

It depends on how many miles are on your vehicle. The sound you are probably hearing is the metal tab located on your brake shoes, it is put there as an indicator to tell you that it is time to change pads. I hate to be a spoil sport but if there is some damage to your front wheel drive bearings it could also give you that noise. You can go to any Car X or Midas to have this checked out free of charge for the estimate. If it is something other than brakes, you should have a good mechanic check it out.

Either the brake pads are worn out, or you have a bad wheel bearing

it sure sounds like your brake pads are worn down to bare metal you will have to pull the wheel off and check to see if they are worn and at the same time check you wheel bearing's.good luck

break pads worn doun to backing plates get to a break shop now before you can't stop your car your front breaks are 60% of your stoping power coming from the right side means you don't have much more break power left on that side and in a panick stop your car could pull to the left real hard sending you into oncomming trafic
