What does the star next to the odometer on my 1985 Chrysler Lebaron convertible mean?

It is the digital type dash. I cannot find anything on what the star means

It means to add 100,000 miles to whatever is showing on the odometer now. The star indicates the odometer has completely gone through its numbers once.

The star means that the dash has been removed. The odometer reading may not be correct!
