We have found a 98 Expedition that is in excellent condition. We are planning to pay cash for it but are wondering if there is a rule of thumb about how much to ask a dealer to come off the price when paying up front? They have all said "Oh we'll discount it" but I'm wondering what a reasonable discount would be? Like a percentage or something.

I would like to sell my 1995 Ford Windstar van privately. This car has had extensive work done on it e.g. new motor, transmission, struts, springs. Should I advertise that? I would like $1500. for it, what is the best way to get the word out. I have never sold anything like this before and would appreciate any productive suggestion. Serious answers only thank you.

Don't Forget Insurance, Gas, Etc. My Mustang Dreams are shattered, b/c that would send my insurance thru the roof...so i need to know, what would be a good choice. No Jeeps, No Chevy's and if your going to answer my question, Please have more than one car as an answer...

OK here's what I need - I am 6'7 285 lbs -yes that is huge I know, but Ineed a vehicle that I can fit into. I also drive approx. 100 miles a day so I need to find something good on fuel mileage. Next I have a limited budget - under twenty thousand - I do not mind a used vehicle so please make any recommendation that you can - Heck if there are any dealerships out there I would love to hear your opinions I live in north east Ohio so snow is at times an issue. Realistically I think we could rule out the Lambo's and Land Rovers but I need some real advice here -

the ppl from the car lot let me take it without car insurance. I let my b/f take it to work and on his way home he got into a car accident!!! Now the ppl from the car lot want us to pay for the crush (which I understand) but they also said they would take the suv to get fixed and now it's been a little over a month and still the suv isn't fixed. Would I be able to get my down payment back??? Should I pay for the accident even thou they let me take it without insurance??? I'v never have bought a car before and I really need good advice can someone please give me some good advice???

What is a 128 point inspection supposed to consist of when your buying a used car from a dealer? We bought one the other day we were told it had a 128 point inspection, and it just died right in the middle of the freeway no more than 20 mins after we took it off the lot.

and I want to pay it off in 4 more months, but I kinda don't like my car anymore! So I was wondering if I was to trade it in for another vehicle and pay it off, how would that be possible? Would I still pay more than wanted to.? Cause I was going to pay the remaining balance of $17,000. But I don't want to pay no more or no less.
