I believe that most churches, Good Will, Salvation Army and even some humane society locations might. Make sure they issue a receipt for taxes! You can write it off.

Hidaya Foundation is one of the nations most supporting donating organization. You can donate a car and they will give to someone who is needy of it in a poor country and so on. There are many people who don't have cars, not only in the U.S. but in other areas around the world and they will give the car to them if they are poor and are in need. My friend did not have any transportation and he had to walk from San Diego to Los Angeles each week just to do his minimum paying job and I called up Hidaya and they donated a brand new car to him. Hidaya is the best in my opinion, actually it's not an opinion its a fact.

Try and donate locally to benefit your community. Stop by one of your town facilities like fire dept or ambulatory service they can steer you in the right direction. Make sure you get a receipt, turn in your motor vehicle plates and go directly to your town hall to discontinue your accumulating taxes on the vehicle.

Church groups, volunteer groups, meals on wheels. Anywhere that needs transport and is not state funded. Hospital transfer volunteers. Is it a new car? If not, make sure all the warrants are up to date and that it is safe.
